2010 grace Classes
- We want to offer classes at Grace that will not only equip and encourage, but also create space for people to build relationships and community as we seek to live out the Kingdom of God in our lives. Below are the classes currently offered for adults at Grace; please take a few minutes to read over the descriptions for each and get involved!
- You Were Born for This: Keys to a Life of Predictable Miracles
- Bruce Wilkinson Conference, March 20-22

- What happens when ordinary people start experiencing miracles on a daily basis? Do you believe this can happen - how does this happen? The truth is, you were born to live a life doing God's work by God's power - to walk out your door each morning believing that God will use you to deliver a necessary miracle to someone in need. We want you to come to this 3-day conference, taught by Bruce Wilkinson, to learn how to encounter miracles that God does on a regular basis, and to embrace your exciting part in making them happen!

- Cost for the 3 Day Conference is $35/person, $60/couple - Includes Conference admission, Saturday lunch & snacks (Sat. Sun. & Mon.)
- Children are $20 each (This will cover childcare for children in Nursery to 3rd grade. Children 4th grade and over, this covers conference admission, snacks & Saturday lunch.)
- Deadline for registering children for childcare is Monday, March 15th. Child registration after that will be for 4th grade and up, who will attend the conference.

- Logos Bible Software Seminar
- Thursday, March 11th, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the High School room.
- 9-10 will be a demonstration of the software, followed by an opportunity for discount purchase.
- 10-12 will be more indepth training on how to use the software.
- The Logos Bible Software is one of the leading bible study software tools available. Many of the staff and pastors at Grace use this software to help prepare for teaching.
- Formally known as Libronix, Logos is more advanced and cross platform for PC and Mac. We will be hosting a training / demo seminar on March 11th from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. where a Logos representative will show you the incredible study features Logos has to offer. Whether for personal study or preparing to teach, Logos is an important tool for all.

- Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University

- Cost for the class is $100 to cover cost of materials.

- Core Couples, Sundays, 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Room
- Our desire at Grace is for you and your spouse to be engaged in worship and the Word, connected with other believers, and serving in some capacity, fully utilizing the unique gifts and talents God has given you. It is with this end in mind that we developed Core Couples. We will meet weekly to invest in you, your marriage and your walk with Christ, with the vision that afterwards you will be sent out to to invest in others.

There is a $50 fee for Core Couples, which covers the cost of books, couple checkup, binder, handouts, speakers, etc. You may pay by check or online.

- Core Parenting
- Parenting is the most intensive discipling relationship we will ever have, whether that is a good or a bad thing is really up to us. Join Randy and Anita Rainwater for 12 weeks of discussion, special guests and prayer. We will learn ?round table? style. No guilt and no pressure, just caring people and Biblical help to raise up our children in the way they should go, without causing exasperation. The goal is to not only help with practical parenting issues but also to develop communities of support. This is open to married, single or combined parents.

- Prepare To Last
- Prepare to Last is a fantastic eight week small group program that is designed for engaged, seriously dating, or newlywed couples. During these eight weeks, you will as a couple and as a group go through the eight core subjects. In between your weekly small group meetings, you as a couple will also have the opportunity to go on guided "Date Nights." Explained in each chapter of the workbook, and guided by the Date Night CD's, these dates are designed to let you as couples further process and apply the small group teaching to your relationship. The topics that will be discussed are: Expectations, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Personalities, Finacial Management, Sex & Intimacy, Secret of our Success, Goals & Dreams.

- First Up (ages 65+)
- Sunday Morning Study, Starts Feb. 7th: 9 a.m., D-House (across the street from Main Building)
- Have you ever wondered . . . What is Heaven really going to be like? What will we look like? What will we do every day? Won't Heaven get boring after a while? We all have questions about what Heaven will be like. We invite you to picture Heaven the way Scripture describes it as bright, vibrant, and physical New Earth, free from sin, suffering, and death, and brimming with Christ's presence, wondrous natural beauty, and the richness of human culture as God intended it.
- Thursday Morning Bible Study, 10 a.m. in the D-House, room U2
- Prayer: Explore the three movements of this central spiritual practice. Understand, experience, and follow its many forms - from the simple prayer of beginning again to unceasing prayer. Clarify the prayer process, examine common misconceptions, and consider the way into prayers of contemplation, healing, blessing, forgiveness, and rest.Walk with us through the various forms of payer; moving us inward into personal transformation, upward toward intimacy with God, and outward to minister to others.
- Adoption Discovery Class
- This is a 7-week small group that walks potential adoptive parents through the adoption process, helping them to better understand the process and make educated decisions, within a community of support. Starts March 11th, 7 p.m. Contact Kim Streater for more information.

- Marriage 911, Starts Sunday, March 7th at 6:30 p.m.
- Marriage 911 is the First Response program that has been used for years to help people who are struggling in their marriage learn healthy and productive ways to deal with their difficult circumstances. This Christ-centered 12 week program helps you to place your focus and energy into areas that can first help you remain/become healthy and whole in the midst of a crisis, and commonly becomes the foundational keys to turning around a troubled marriage. This 12-week study is a "first response" to a crisis marriage, even with unwilling spouses.
- Date: Starts Sunday March 7th from 6:30-8pm. You can sign up as a couple or as an individual.
- Location: Learning Cottage A1 and A2. If you plan on bringing children, please bring a sack dinner for them.
